each nation has many good people who help to take care of others. for example, some high school and college students in the united states often spend many hours as volunteers in hospitals, orphanages or homes for the aged. they read books to the peopie in these places,or they just visit them or listen to their problems.

other young volunteers go and work in the homes of people who are sick or old. they paint,clean up,or repair houses, do their shopping and mow their lawns. for boys who no longer have fathers there is an ege students and other men take these boys to basketball games or on fishing trips and help them to get to know things that boys usually learn from their fathers.

some cities have a number of clubs where boys and girls can go to play games or learn crafts. some of these clubs show movies or organize short trips to the mountains,the beaches,museums or other places of interest. most of these clubs use a lot of high school and college students as volunteers because they are young enough to remember the problems of younger boys and girls.

volunteers believe that some of the happiest people in the world are those who help to bring happiness to others.

我們來到蓮石湖公園後，穿上志願者的服裝，帶上手套準備開工。我們沿著小路到了湖邊，湖邊的垃圾溼漉漉的，有黑乎乎的垃圾袋;有腐爛的菸頭;有溼漉漉的廢紙;還有一些小紙片……看著都很髒。同學們並不覺得垃圾髒，拿著夾子和垃圾袋衝上去搶著撿。我想：“管它髒不髒，只要能美化環境就行!”於是，我一手拿著垃圾袋，一手拿著夾子，一夾就是一個的撿起來。湖邊的垃圾終於被清理完畢了，看著整潔的環境，美麗的風景，我們心裡美滋滋的。

我們又把陣地轉移到了行人便道上。路上的垃圾比湖邊的還要多好多倍，什麼菸頭啊、紙巾啊……到處都是。我還阻止過幾位叔叔吸菸。我跟準備吸菸的叔叔說：“叔叔，請您不要在這裡吸菸，那邊有吸菸處，您可以到那裡去吸菸。”叔叔對我笑了笑說：“小夥子，謝謝你提醒我。”

當我走了不到一半的路程時，我忽然放下垃圾袋說：“太累了，我不幹了!”爸爸卻對我說：“這麼快就累了?你要為自己加油，你看那些保潔阿姨，每天都要來打掃衛生，她們怎麼從來都不喊累呢?”我沉思了一小會兒，覺得爸爸的話很有道理。於是，我撿起扔掉的垃圾袋，又重新撿起了垃圾。

當我們撿完垃圾，看到乾淨美麗的公園，我開心極了。作為一名志願者，我深深的體會到保潔阿姨的辛苦。其實，保護環境人人有責，只有大家齊動手，我們的環境才會更美好!

4月28至5月3日，我去參加了沙灘排球志願者的活動。

雖然很累，但是我覺得能看到運動員精湛的球技，也是很快樂的。其中令我印象最深刻的就是那場中國隊的比賽。

中國隊在我的印象裡一直以來都是“輸”的形象，可這次她們的實力讓我大吃一驚。

一開場，外國隊便以壓倒性的實力搶先了中國隊3，4分，我心想：這次比賽結束的肯定又是特別快，又是2比0。可是我身為中國人，怎麼能有這種想法呢！於是我給球時輕輕對中國隊隊員說了句：“加油！”隊員對我綻開了一個笑容。

隨著時間的推移，外國隊便拔得頭籌，已經以實力拿下了第一盤。

這時，觀眾隨著一個人的煽動，大聲喊了起來：“中國隊，加油！中國隊，加油！”坐在遮陽傘下的一些大哥哥也情不自禁的喊了起來：“加油啊！”此時中國隊已經開始回擊了，她們用努力拿下了一局。

此時已經是1比1了，大家的心提的緊緊的，生怕中國隊就這麼輸了，我心想：一定要贏啊，為中國爭光。

兩隊的隊員都揮灑著汗水，甚至已經可以聽到濃重的喘息聲，想必她們也已經非常的勞累了，我也很累了，希望中國隊趕快的勝利。

時間一分一秒的過去了，比分已經是14比13，中國隊離勝利只有一步之遙。

又是一球發出去，外國隊一個漂亮的扣殺，將比分拉平了。

大家都有些興奮，又有些擔心，怕中國隊輸了。

終於，中國隊一個碰網球，外國隊速不及防，中國隊勝利了。排山倒海般的掌聲響了起來。

雖然勞累，但也是快樂的，能目睹中國隊的風采。
